Designer Zarema Murtazaeva was born in Uzbekistan, and says that she has been designing clothing ever since she could speak. That was always her passion, despite her parents guiding her to study and to become a chemical engineer. In 1991 after the fall of the USSR, Zarema stayed in Saint Petersburg when her family left for Crimea. She completed her fashion design education at Saint-Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design. The turning point in her life is when she gave birth to her daughter. Simultaneously, she knew her vision for her MUZA brand. MUZA is a luxury brand that values individuality, modern classics, and has an aesthetic inspired by the linear geometry of big urban areas. She is inspired by women from varying cultures, including the self-assured American woman, the beautiful Slavic woman, the regal Asian woman. Her line is designed for the proactive woman who loves to experiment, and who appreciates not just fashion, but style. Go here to view MUZA's policies.
